Vin Diesel’s emotional Teen Choice Awards acceptance speech had viewers on the verge of tears on Sunday night.
Paul Walker’s close friend and co-star paid tribute to the late actor and praised his daughter Meadow when he took to the stage with the rest of the Fast & Furious cast as they took home the award for Choice Movie: Action.
Addressing the crowd at the Galen Center in Los Angeles alongside Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez and Ludacris, he thanked fans for their incredible support before speaking about Paul, who tragically died in a car crash in November 2013.
“We are a true, true, true family. You fans have been so incredible to us and have encouraged us and made us reach higher each time,” he told the crowd.
He continued: “I can’t stand here and be rewarded like this without talking about somebody very, very, very important to us.
“One of the best lessons in our lives is the fact that we had the opportunity call Pablo our brother. Paul Walker is here in spirit with us.”
The actor then went on to mention Paul’s family, including his teenage daughter Meadow.

“It’s Paul Walker’s family – his parents and his brothers – that kept us encouraged while we were making Furious 7, but there is one very, very special teen here, and her name is Meadow Walker.”
On the night, Paul received a posthumous award for Choice Movie Actor: Action.
