The Portuguese footballer has splashed out on a Greek Island for his close friend, with Portuguese outlet Move Noticias confirming the sale.

While the cost of the island is still unknown, reports suggest the sports star could have handed over £35.5milion for the land.

We have a feeling he might have failed to stick to the registered wedding gift list, but on this occasion all will be forgiven.
